Here's a quick think on the MOSCA cover, I've tried to go for things that would work in a series of covers...
The first thing that immediately struck me when you said epic, tropical nature themes with modular type was simply to combine the two by rendering the type within an epic nature scene. Some ideas >
+Have MOSCA carved out of stone and set it amongst the jungle. Very ancient Aztec in feel
(1 / 2 / 3). This would combine both the tropical and the epic. Type rendered as basically as possible. These sketches I quickly done here probably explain best
(1)
+A play on the northern lights and ice could be really strong, particularly the colours
(1)
+Obviously the possibilities are endless; rendered on the side of a mountain like this flyer
(1). Or underwater could present a a very good opportunity with colour- coral reef etc.
Whilst these could end up being heavily illustrated I think it would be possible to do them very graphically... Nearly photo-realistic might be best. Possibly change and distort the colours as you've done recently on some of the NS flyers like the Geeneus and Spyro night or
(1).
Writing them out like this they all seem a bit contrived maybe, sounded better in my head. Be hard to make it not look too 'full'.

Moving on, what might develop into a very nice series would be to take elements of nature (leaves, rock, stone, water) and develop them into some sort of camo. Whether this would be literally taking stones and collating them or what I think would work much better would be taking their forms or the patterns within them
(1 / 2). And making a much more traditional form of camo. Again scope for play of colours is wide (I think it's important to develop on from the very strong use of colour NS has done so far)
A sketch

Obviously this would transfer well onto the centre sticker of the vinyl itself. Type, MOSCA logo or whatever could easily placed over the top like the D2S cover

I'd even just be tempted to just 'sample' an element of nature, be it leaf pattern like before
(1) or water, apply a treatment of colour over the top and the strong NS typography and logo. Probably keep contrast low...
